Victory at the Paramount City Council meeting! In response to our protests, vast community fightback and overwhelming public support, the city council passed a lengthy resolution tonight condemning ICE’s and DHS’s presence in Paramount. The council resolution makes clear they stand with the immigrant and broader Latina/o community of Paramount.
- We will keep demanding ICE & federal troops out of Paramount until their staging area is shut down!
- ICE and National Guard: Out of Paramount!
- Stop ICE Raids and Deportations By Any Means Necessary!
- Shut down the ICE and National Guard staging area in Paramount!
- The majority of our country is opposed to the Trump administration and his fascist policies – Trump must be removed now!
