First presented at the Second National Conference of the New Civil Rights Movement, Feb. 7, 2002

The movement that secured victory for affirmative action at the Supreme Court began well before the historic demonstration on April 1, 2003 (the day the Supreme Court heard the University of Michigan affirmative action cases). This video covers BAMN's organizing efforts following the U-Michigan affirmative action trial in 2000 to our victory at the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati.
