Morning:
"Justice Sunday" - Following morning church services in the Washington, DC area, ministers and pastors from various congregations will lead a protest rally outside the Supreme Court.

Monday, December 4th

Howard University rally, then march to the U.S. Supreme Court! (Details will be posted soon.)

Rally in front of U.S. Supreme Court during the Louisville and Seattle hearings
(East Capitol & First, Washington, DC)

Please volunteer your services for the day of the march for backup. Contact us.

If you are a Washington local organization (or if you can be in Washington extra-early and/or stay late after the march), we need:

* Post-march clean-up crews
* Bus chaperones from all cities for high school students
* Hospitality crews to assist early-morning out-of-town travelers, set up early-AM staging areas at local churches (locations TBA).

Public Transportation in DC:

Closest metro stops to the Supreme Court are the Capitol South station on the Blue and Orange line, and Union Station on the Red line.

(Union Station is a little further from the Supreme Court, but connects to all Metro lines as well as Amtrak, MTA/MARC, and Virginia Rail Express)
 

Bus, Van & Car Parking, Dropoff and Pickup

All buses should go to RFK Stadium, LOT 3, Levels 2 and 3

- across from the DC Armory, entrance on 19th Street (2400 E.Capitol) [MAP] to drop off passengers, park, and pick up passengers at the end of the day.

Parking per bus is $35.

* Bus drivers/bus captains will need to have cash on hand to pay for parking at the parking lot gate.

We also encourage people coming by car, vans, etc. to also park at RFK Stadium. There will be extra reserved parking at RFK Stadium for the demonstration.

Parking per car or van is $5.
 

Airports, Bus and Train Stations in DC

AIRPORTS

There are three airports in the Washington DC area: Ronald Reagan Washington National (DCA) (703-417-8000: located in Virginia very close to DC), Washington-Dulles International (IAD) (703-572-2700: located in Virginia about 30 min. from DC) and Baltimore-Washington Airport (1-800-435-9294: located in Maryland halfway between DC and Baltimore, about 30-40 min. drive from DC). Please see the websites of these airports for information about public transportation and directions.

BUS STATION

The Greyhound bus station is located at 1005 1ST ST NE. This is walking distance from Union Station (the train station), which is also the located of a red line metro stop (Click here for metro information). The phone number is (202) 289-5154 and the website is www.greyhound.com.

TRAIN STATION: UNION STATION

Amtrak, MTA/MARC, Metrorail and Virginia Rail Express run to Union Station.

Union Station is located at 50 Massachusetts Ave. NE. The red line stop "Union Station" is located inside the building (Click here for metro information). Click here for the Union Station website, which offers directions.

Union Station is walking distance to the Supreme Court, about 0.6 miles, due south. Directions.
